At Misbrugscenter Sønderborg, we can help you move on in life if you have excessive use of alcohol, hashish, cocaine, amphetamines or other drugs.
We offer free help and advice under discretion to anyone over the age of 12. There is an option to be anonymous.
- What happens after I contact the Abuse Center?
-
When you contact us, you will be offered a consultation within 48 hours. Here you will be informed about the Abuse Center's treatment offer.
If you agree to undergo treatment, the further process will be agreed with the therapist you will be assigned to.
After the first conversation, together with your therapist, you will make a plan for how best to achieve your goals. You have a high degree of influence on the content of the treatment and help to put together a course that makes sense for you. We are an offer that wants to support your change, so you don't get involved in something you don't want yourself.
The treatment is completely individual, and it is therefore very different how often you meet with your therapist. The treatment can consist of both group sessions and/or individual interviews. You can also receive round-the-clock treatment.
- Can I get counseling and treatment as a young person?
-
Yes, if you are between 12 and 23 years old, you can have 1-3 non-binding and free conversations with a therapist from the Youth Team. During the talks, you will find out together what can help you. We help you to reduce or stop your consumption and help you to avoid relapse.
If you are under 18, your parents must give consent for treatment.
- Should I stop consuming if I start treatment?
-
No. Together with you, we set goals for your treatment and support you in the change you want.
- Can I get medical treatment?
