Case processing times and deadlines

Sonderborg Municipality strives to process incoming cases as quickly as possible.

In Sønderborg Municipality, we have set deadlines for the social area below for how long we must wait to make a decision. The deadlines depend on which support or help you apply for.

A case is generally dealt with as quickly as possible. The case processing deadline indicates the maximum time that may elapse from the time the municipality receives an application until a decision is made. If, exceptionally, we cannot meet the deadline in a specific case, you will receive a letter about this and when you can expect a decision. The reason for exceeding a deadline may be that there is a long wait for medical information, construction approval, etc.

Adherence to the case processing deadlines requires that you have completed the application correctly, that you meet any deadlines and that the required documentation is available with the application, or is provided in time when the municipality requests it.

The case processing deadlines apply both to new application cases and to cases referred by the Appeals Board.

For all paragraphs that do not appear on the list, a processing deadline of up to 12 weeks applies.
