If you are over 18 years of age and have a permanent disability, the municipality can provide assistance to cover necessary expenses that qualify for compensation in your daily life. The benefit can compensate for your reduced functional capacity and help you live as normal a life as possible.

An expense eligible for compensation is a necessary expense that you incur as a result of your reduced functional capacity. That is, an expense that citizens without reduced functional capacity generally do not incur. The expense must not be covered under other provisions of the law.
