Lunch and meal arrangements in nurseries and kindergartens

Sonderborg Municipality offers a healthy lunch in the municipality's daycare institutions. 

The parents will be informed of this when the voting takes place. The parents also have the opportunity to arrange lunch arrangements themselves, if you do not wish to use the municipal offer.

Sonderborg Municipality cooperates with Mrs. Hansen's Basement, which provides a versatile diet of good quality and a minimum of 70% organic in the municipal lunch scheme.

What is the cost of the lunch scheme in nurseries and kindergartens?

If a lunch program is offered, it will cost DKK 527 per month in 2026 in both nurseries and kindergartens.

Can I get a free place subsidy or sibling subsidy to pay for lunch?

Yes, it is provided financially, socio-pedagogically and in terms of treatment free space subsidy as well as sibling subsidy for parents' payment for the lunch meal, if the parents are entitled to this and have applied for the subsidy.
