Sønderborg Municipality administers a number of foundations and scholarships in collaboration with the foundation and scholarship boards.

Von Vette's loan grant - loans to upright and needy people of the artisan class and of the working class

Von Vette's loan grant is a loan to upright and needy people of the artisan class and of the working class in the former Gråsten and Adsbøl parish municipalities.

A reasoned application for support can be sent by mail to Sønderborg Municipality (see contact information below). The applications are then assessed. Should you be among the lucky ones, any amount will be deposited into your NEM account. REMEMBER to state your social security number and telephone number in the application.

The IP Nielsen Foundation 

The IP Nielsen Foundation in memory of Queen Ingrid provides support for non-profit purposes for the benefit of children and young people in Southern Jutland, including pedagogical development work for South Jutland school children.

The fund provides i.a. support for projects where emphasis is placed on experiences and learning that support children and young people's South Jutland identity in a globalized world, and which develop their social skills. The projects can, for example, be based on culture, nature and technology, history and health and well-being.

Funds are allocated to projects that are geographically delimited to the former County of Southern Jutland with children and young people in age groups corresponding to the 0th - 10th grade of primary and lower secondary school.

Applications must be received by May 1 of each year. 

The board of the foundation evaluates the applications, and the applicants can expect notification in June. 

The grant portions are distributed, if possible, by the foundation's patron, Princess Benedikte.
