Strategic energy planning
Sønderborg is working with Haderslev, Tønder and Aabenraa on a strategic energy plan through the secretariat SEP Southern Jutland.
- What is the purpose of SEP?

The work aims partly to strengthen the quality of energy and heat planning in all three municipalities and partly to work for the realization of concrete projects across the municipalities.

During 2020, Sønderborg Municipality has prepared an updated strategic energy plan for Sønderborg Municipality. It has formed the background for Heating plan 2021.
The preparation of the Strategic Energy Plan 2020 has taken place in collaboration between Sønderborg Municipality, ProjectZero, ProjectZero Business, Sønderborg Varme, Sønderborg Forsyning and SEP Sønderjylland.
