Seek support for voluntary social and health promotion work

Voluntary social associations, organizations and groups can apply for grants for voluntary social and health-promoting work.

Voluntary social associations, organizations and groups can apply for grants for voluntary social and health-promoting work pursuant to Section 18 of the Service Act and Section 7 of the Elderly Act.

What can we apply for funding for?

You can apply for support for organizations, associations and groups' work to support people who are having a hard time - for example children, young people and families with personal and social problems, lonely, vulnerable elderly people, the sick, people with physical or mental challenges, drug addicts and refugees/immigrants. In addition, support can be sought for other health-promoting efforts.
Groups can apply for a maximum of DKK 5.000 annually.

Is it possible to apply orally?

The opportunity to present an oral application for support is particularly aimed at applicants who experience challenges in completing a written application, for example due to dyslexia, visual impairment or other challenges that make it difficult to complete the application without assistance.

The oral application is presented at a meeting with the municipality's volunteer consultant.

Applicants wishing to attend a presentation meeting must contact the volunteer consultant no later than 14 days before the application deadline for the current round - i.e. no later than mid-November for round 1 and mid-May for round 2.

At the presentation meeting, the applicant must bring or be able to provide information about:

  • A description of the activities or services that the association, organization or group's volunteers carry out and are applying for support for

Associations and organizations must be able to demonstrate:

  • The association/organization's CVR number
  • Contact information for the President, Vice President and Treasurer
  • Most recently approved accounts and articles of association

Groups must be able to demonstrate:

  • roper's CPR number
  • contact information for the leader and the other active group members for groups

The volunteer consultant will then help you fill out the application form based on this information.

Once the association, organization or group has approved the completed application, the volunteer consultant submits the application on behalf of the applicant.

When will we receive a response to our application?

Responses to the application can be expected in mid-February and mid-August. Allocated funds can be expected to be transferred to the association's/rope holder's Nem account at the end of February and August.
