Framework agreement in the specialized social field

The municipalities and the Regional Council enter into an annual framework agreement on professional development, management and coordination of the specialized social area in the Region of Southern Denmark. The agreement consists of a development strategy and a management agreement. 

The development strategy contains the professional development of the area. The management agreement ensures clear rules of the game for the cooperation in the municipalities' purchase and sale of places as well as the region's sale of places. The framework agreement is prepared in the municipalities in collaboration with the Region of Southern Denmark, and must be approved by all municipal councils in the region and in the regional council. The framework agreement is renegotiated annually.
 
The framework agreement 2021-2022 for Southern Denmark continues to have the overall ambition that in 2021-2022 there will be a focus on quantity, places and economy. There will continue to be a focus on using the municipal resources in the best possible way, based on the best offers to the citizens. A new focus is to improve the transition between sectors.
