At Citizen Service you can get help with a number of personal matters such as picking up a passport, driving license or the like.

If you can operate yourself via our self-service solutions, but do not have access to a computer, you have the opportunity to freely use our citizen PCs in our citizen café in Sonderborg.

Note: Borgerservice Sønderborg has moved permanently to Borgen, Holger Drachmanns Plads 5.

Can I pick up my passport outside opening hours?

If you need to pick up your passport in the document box, there are the following opening hours in the document box:

• Monday and Wednesday: 08.00 am - 15.00 pm
• Tuesday and Thursday: 08.00 am - 18.00 pm
• Friday: 08.00 am - 15.00 pm

However, closed between Christmas and New Year 2025, on public holidays, 1 May, 19 May (Friday after Ascension) and 5 June (Constitution Day).
