Residential institution Skrænten

Housing offer Skrænten is for 40 mainly younger people with mild to moderate developmental disabilities. A part of Skrænten is targeted at people with autism who, among other things, need structure, predictability and recognisability.

Residential institution Skrænten is beautifully situated next to Alssund close to the beach and green areas within walking distance to Sonderborg center and with good bus and train connections. 

There is staff on weekdays between 06.30 am and 22.30 pm and on weekends from 7.00 am to 22.30 pm. In addition, there is a security night watchman.

How to live at Botilbud Skrænten?

The residential institution Skrænten consists of:

• 6 one-room apartments - most with access to a balcony.
• 34 two-room apartments -most with access to a balcony.
• Large basement with the possibility of activities
• Yard
• Large common living room with associated dining area and access to large terrace
• Common living room and kitchen for residents with autism.
• Communal laundry

Can you participate in a meal plan at Botilbud? Skrænten?

On Skrænten we have individual service plans where you have the option of participating in a meal plan.

What activities are there at Botilbud? Skrænten?

We have varying offers according to the interests of the citizens, including:

• song and music
• cooking
• creative activities
• exercise, including Team sports.
• movies, games and computer
• concerts and events
• joint events at holidays
• Citizens' Council meetings with the possibility of user influence
• bicycle / moped workshop for minor repairs

All activities are offered as a joint activity.
